Shannon Gomes - I´m now eczema free!

Thank you for your ongoing support and immense knowledge, Donia. It has been about 2 1/2 years since I first got into contact with Donia about my chronic eczema. My mom found the website and for that, I am forever grateful. I am thankful for your help and willingness to always answer my questions that I have. You are such an amazing person to help people with skin problems such as eczema and not ask for anything in return. It took about 8 months for my eczema to start clearing up and now my eczema is completely clear. I know many people can relate to the fact that eczema can be not only painful but also something that you want to hide.

I started using steroid creams when I was around 6 years old and stopped when I was around 23 years old. I've had allergies for as long as I can remember and along with that came eczema. Steroid creams seemed to be the only thing that helped and the only thing that physicians said would work. It wasn't until 2012 that my eczema wouldn't go away even with the use of steroid creams, it just kept on getting worse and worse and more painful.

With the help of Donia, changing my diet and becoming more knowledgeable about eczema, I am now eczema free. The journey isn't easy and if you're looking for a quick fix you most likely will not get one. It still has it ups and downs but, it is something that I will continue to work on. Thank you!
